Start your Seeds!
Start your seeds now. Remember some seed variety's need 4 to 6 weeks to start good plants. Paper egg containers, milk containers, juice boxes or small pots can be good containers to start your seeds in. You want to start them inside because you don't know what kind of weather we will be getting (Snow!?!) and some varieties birds and squirrels take a liking to. Let us know how you plant your seeds. More to come on plant seeds.
Botanical Interests has a terrific blog and website that discusses everything seeds. They take great pride in the botanical illustrations on the packaging and more importantly the SAFE SEED PLEDGE. They do not knowingly buy or sell genetically engineered seeds or plants. With over 400 varieties, it is hard to choose! (We carry about 100 of them)
Our hours are still winter hours: Tuesday thru Saturday 10am to 4pm.
